Resources to Help Faculty as Discipline and Teaching Scholars

As scholars in your fields of study, you will continue as researchers yourselves. UCO hopes you will bring students into your disciplinary research, either as graduate students or as undergrads and therefore as a way you engage with the Research, Creative, and Scholarly Activity Central Six Tenet. (Students who receive Research Assistantships as undergraduates persist at a 95% rate!)

UCO’s Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is a valuable resource for every facet of grantsmanship. They can assist with both internal and external grant-seeking.

CETTL provides multiple resources to support you in your continuing role as a scholar in your discipline and as a scholar investigating student learning (the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning – SoTL). Many of these resources are housed under the SoTL category on our Resources page and in our Library. We provide focused support for faculty applying for SoTL Course Redesign grants.

TRC is a valuable resource for assistance with, and access to, several technologies that can aid faculty in conducting research (word processing, spreadsheet, quantitative and qualitative data analysis software, citation software, and more).  Visit the Research Technology and Productivity Technology pages for more information about the research tools available and supported at UCO.
